Terms and Conditions – Maeve Dublin
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Right of withdrawal: the period during which the consumer may exercise their right to cancel the contract.

Consumer: a natural person who does not act for business purposes and who enters into a distance contract with the seller.

Day: a calendar day.

Long-term contract: a distance contract concerning goods and/or services whose delivery or performance occurs over a period of time.

Durable medium: any medium that enables information to be stored in a way that allows future reference and unaltered reproduction.

Seller: the natural or legal person offering goods and/or services to consumers via distance selling.

Distance contract: a contract concluded through a distance-selling system using one or more means of distance communication up to and including the time of contract conclusion.

Means of distance communication: any technology that allows the conclusion of a contract without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties.

General Terms and Conditions: these terms and conditions used by the seller.

Article 3 – Scope
These terms apply to all offers by Maeve Dublin and to all distance contracts concluded between Maeve Dublin and the consumer.
Before a contract is concluded, the consumer must have access to these terms. If this is not possible, the consumer must be informed where they can access them and will receive a copy free of charge upon request.
For electronic contracts, these terms must be provided in a way that allows the consumer to store them on a durable medium.
If specific conditions apply to a particular product or service, those shall apply alongside these general terms. In case of conflict, the provision most favorable to the consumer shall prevail.
Article 4 – Offers
If an offer has a limited validity period or is subject to specific conditions, this must be clearly stated.
Offers are non-binding and may be adjusted by Maeve Dublin.
Product descriptions must be accurate, and images should reflect reality. Obvious errors or omissions do not bind the seller.
Each offer must include information on:

Prices (excluding any customs duties or import taxes, which are payable by the consumer to the carrier)

Shipping costs
-
The process for concluding a contract
-
The right of withdrawal
-
Payment, delivery, and fulfillment terms
-
The duration of the offer
-
Any additional charges
-
The option to correct input errors
-
The languages in which the contract may be concluded

Any minimum duration of obligations

Product variations (size, color, material)
Article 5 – Contract Conclusion
A contract is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and fulfills the conditions.
For electronic orders, Maeve Dublin shall promptly confirm receipt of the order. Until confirmation, the consumer may cancel.
Maeve Dublin reserves the right to verify the consumer’s payment ability and may refuse an order for justified reasons.
Upon delivery, the consumer shall receive:

Customer service contact details

Information regarding the right of withdrawal

Warranty terms
-
Any legally required information
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 days of receiving the goods.
During this period, the consumer must handle the product with care and, if possible, return it in its original packaging.
The consumer must notify Maeve Dublin of their intent to withdraw in writing or via email within 30 days and return the product within 30 days of that notification.
Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, even if the product is returned directly to the supplier.
Article 7 – Return Costs
The consumer is responsible for the costs of returning goods.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving notice of withdrawal, provided that the product has been returned or proof of shipment has been supplied.
Article 8 – Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that:

Have been custom-made or personalized for the consumer

Are clearly of a personal nature

Cannot be returned due to their nature

Are perishable or have a limited shelf life

Are subject to market fluctuations
-
Are newspapers or magazines
-
Consist of unsealed software, audio, or video recordings

Are hygiene products with opened packaging
Nor does it apply to services that:

Involve accommodation, transport, or leisure activities on a specific date
-
Have begun with the consumer’s consent before the withdrawal period expired

Relate to lotteries or betting
Article 9 – Prices
Prices will not be increased after the contract is concluded, except for changes in VAT or other taxes.
Import duties and customs fees are collected by the carrier and are not included in product prices.
All prices are subject to possible typographical errors.
Article 10 – Conformity and Warranty
Maeve Dublin guarantees that all products conform to the contract, the product description, and applicable law.
Manufacturer warranties do not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
The warranty does not apply if:

The consumer or a third party has repaired the product
-
The product was misused
-
Legal or material care requirements were not followed
Article 11 – Delivery
Maeve Dublin is responsible for order fulfillment.
Delivery shall occur within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.
If delivery is not possible, a suitable replacement product will be offered.
The risk transfers to the consumer once the product is received by the consumer or an authorized recipient.
Article 12 – Duration and Termination
The consumer may terminate an indefinite contract at any time with a one-month notice period.
Fixed-term contracts shall not be automatically extended, except in cases of agreed subscriptions.
Article 13 – Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made within 7 working days from the start of the withdrawal period.
The consumer must immediately notify Maeve Dublin of any incorrect payment details.
Article 14 – Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of discovering the issue.
A response will be provided within 30 days. If additional time is needed, the consumer will be informed accordingly.
Article 15 – Applicable Law
All contracts between Maeve Dublin and the consumer shall be governed by Dutch law, even if the consumer resides abroad.
